Manuscripts submitted to Jurnal Al Tarmasi will be considered for publication provided they comply with the journal’s academic, technical, and ethical requirements.

Manuscripts submitted to this journal will be considered for publication provided they meet the following requirements:

Scholarly Contribution
The submission must present a scholarly work in Islamic studies and thought. It should be original, research-based or grounded in a substantive and contributive literature review, and relevant to the development of Islamic studies, turāth-based inquiry, fiqh, uṣūl al-fiqh, and related intellectual traditions.

Originality
The manuscript must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration in any other journal.

Required Article Elements
The article should include the following elements: title, author’s name, institutional affiliation, email address, abstract, keywords, main content, and references.

Title
The title must be clear, specific, and no longer than 14 words.

Author Name Format
Academic titles should not be included in the author’s name.

Manuscript Format
The manuscript must be prepared in MS Word format using Palatino Linotype, 10 pt font size, 1 line spacing, on A4 paper, with a length of approximately 15–25 pages (see journal template).

Abstract and Keywords
All submissions must contain an abstract of 75–150 words and 3–5 keywords. Research articles should include title, purpose, method, and key findings in the abstract, whereas conceptual papers should include title, purpose, and major arguments or discussion.

Editorial Process
Editorial and peer review processes may involve revisions and editorial adjustments without altering the substance of the paper.

Citation Style
Citations and references must follow the Turabian Style.
